Terms of service

These terms apply when you use shoplistd.com, the free store check or the Shoplistd app for Shopify (together, “Shoplistd”). By installing the app or running a check you agree to them. If you use Shoplistd for a business, you agree on that business's behalf.
What Shoplistd does
Shoplistd asks AI assistants shopping questions, reports how often your store is recommended, suggests changes to your product data, and counts sales and visits that came from AI assistants.
What the results mean
AI assistants personalise their answers and change them often. Our scores describe what the assistants said when we asked them through their APIs, as a shopper in your market. They are estimates with a likely range, not a promise of what any one shopper will see. We don't guarantee any ranking, recommendation, traffic or sales.
Changes to your store
Shoplistd changes product data only when you apply a fix. You are responsible for reviewing each change before you apply it and for the accuracy of your product listings. We check suggested text against your own product data, but you should still read it. You can undo any fix we applied from the app.
Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify, in US dollars, and include a 14-day free trial unless stated otherwise.
- You can change or cancel your plan in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app cancels your plan.
- Charges already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing cycle.
Fair use
Don't use Shoplistd to break the law, to check stores you have no legitimate interest in at scale, to resell our data, to overload the service, or to get around plan limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your data
Your store data stays yours. You give us permission to use it to provide Shoplistd, as described in our privacy policy. We may use answers from AI assistants, which are not your data, and anonymised, aggregated statistics to improve the service.
Third-party services
Shoplistd relies on Shopify and on AI providers. Their availability and answers are outside our control, and an assistant we query may change or stop offering access. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Kimi and Grok are trademarks of their respective owners. Shoplistd is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Liability
Shoplistd is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost sales, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using Shoplistd at any time by uninstalling the app. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the date above when these terms change and tell installed merchants by email about significant changes. Using Shoplistd after a change means you accept the new terms.
